Hotel Zed knows that “home for the holidays” isn’t always in the cards for some folks. If, for whatever reason, you won’t or can’t travel to a family home this season, come to Hotel Zed Tofino for a festive rebel rendezvous!
We’re choosing to celebrate the holidays this year with our chosen family (and that includes you!) We’ve got a calendar of fun events and new traditions open to whoever may not get that experience elsewhere: holiday crafting, cookie decorating, festive feasts and even pancakes with Santa!

Gingerbread Party People
Join us in the lobby from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm for a sweet treat! Our pastry team will supply gingerbread people cookies and all of the fixings, and we want you to help us decorate them! Taste testing is encouraged. This is a free event and all are welcome! Holiday sweaters are also welcome!
A Holiday Sing-A-Long Event
Après Surf at ROAR is getting the Holiday Special treatment! Our Après Surf happy hour at ROAR is turning into a full-on Holiday Sing-A-Long event. We aren’t worried about your pitch or tone, we just want to see you have a good time! Join us from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for complimentary hot cocoa, cider, and cookies.
Breakfast with Santa
The North Pole could spare Santa for the day, so he’ll be spending some time at ROAR! Come for breakfast (or brunch) between 8:00 am – 2:00 pm for your chance to meet Santa! He’ll be posing for photos in ROAR and in our holiday photo booth in the lobby. We’ll donate all pancake proceeds from Breakfast with Santa to the TUCG Box Program. Pancakes are only $10 or enjoy the a la carte menu as usual. Reservations at ROAR are recommended but not necessary.

ROAR is open for Festive Feasts with three seatings at 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Choose our 3-course menu for $65 or add a cheese course for $85. Reserve today.
