Happy Pride Month! It’s that time of the year when we come together to celebrate love, acceptance, and the beautiful diversity of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. VICTORIA PRIDE PARADE: WILL YOU BE THERE?

From June 29th to July 9th, Victoria Pride will be in full swing, and Hotel Zed is thrilled to be a part of it. We will be participating in the Victoria Pride Parade on July 9th, marching alongside the Songhees Nation, Indigenous and Two-Spirit Guests of Honour, and the vibrant Victoria Pride Society. Last year’s parade was an incredible experience, filled with love and support. We can’t wait to be there again, spreading joy and giving out fantastic swag. Keep an eye out for our colourful team and join us in the festive spirit!

TOFINO’S FIRST PRIDE EVENT: YOU MUST BE THERE!

More thrilling news to share with you this year… we are amping up to host Tofino’s VERY FIRST Pride event on June 28, together with Coastal Queer Alliance! Yup, it is finally happening for real – we are so stoked about this! The event starts at Mackenzie Beach, and we will be walking down to the hotel with colourful and cheerful energy so that you won’t miss us. Grab some drinks, soak up the sun, and march along with us in unity.

 

After getting a good tan outside, come down to the Hotel Zed Tofino lobby for even more fun. Here, you can enjoy acoustic music, spend time with fun allies, and check out the stage with its various performers and entertainment. We’re setting up a vendor village for local artisans as well for you, to snack on treats and browse uniquely handcrafted art pieces – C’mon, it is Tofino after all. This is going to be awesome! Bringing your kiddos? We got you. We’ll have lawn games and photo booths, and a chill area in the lobby.
