Hotel Zed knows that “home for the holidays” isn’t always in the cards for some folks. If, for whatever reason, you won’t or can’t travel to a family home this season, come to Hotel Zed Victoria for a festive rebel rendezvous!
We’re choosing to celebrate the holidays this year with our chosen family (and that includes you!) We’ve got a calendar of fun events and new traditions open to whoever may not get that experience elsewhere: holiday crafting, festive sing-a-longs, cookie decorating, festive feasts and even pancakes with Santa!

Gingerbread Party People
Get ready to roll up your Christmas sweater sleeves and sprinkle some holiday magic! Join us for our free Gingerbread People Decorating Party, where creativity (and frosting!) knows no bounds. Our rebels will provide the cookies, icing, and endless toppings—you bring your imagination. Join us in Grandma’s Basement at Hotel Zed from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
A Holiday Sing-A-Long Event
All Rebels welcome, it’s a Holiday Sing-A-Long in our retro Grandma’s Basement! We aren’t worried about your pitch or tone, we just want to see you have a good time! Join us from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm for complimentary hot cocoa, cider, and cookies.
Festival of Trees at the Bay Centre
From November 15th to January 5th, 2025
For over 30 years, the Festival of Trees has been a holiday family tradition bringing together our community with local businesses on Vancouver Island to celebrate our collective support of BC Children’s Hospital by showcasing beautifully decorated trees for all to enjoy over the holidays. Winter on the Terrace at Fathom
